A beautiful three storey beachfront apartment that has been a longstanding project since 2016. Orignally Solace were engaged by the body corporate to address minor conrete spalling. After completation, Solace were again called upon to work on a refurbishment of the property.
The original face brick facade was showing signs of erosion to the mortar joints, damage to the brick sills and this was causing potential harm and great concern to the residents. Consulting with the residents resinstating the brick sills and rendering the entire building in a polymer enhanced 3 coat system was advised. The aesthetic of the building was greatly improved, with the existing detiorating brick work being rebonded. In addition, Solace replaced all of the aluminium balustrades with semi frameless glass, re-painted the tiled roof, fascias, soffits, walls and garage doors.
The 5 property owners were thrilled with the results and the upfront, and timely approach to work.
