The idea of the Thermal comfort blog is to provide information for people who are designing, renovating or improving their home. Being a qualified builder and Thermal performance assessor, I can cover issues such as building products, energy efficient design, home improvement Ideas and any other questions people may have . As a person I am always looking to grow my knowledge base, there for I am always interested in hearing from people who have tried different techniques, materials and ideas or wish to do so.

I have been involved in the building industry since the early 90′s as a tradesman. I am a qualified builder and qualifications in carpentry, solid plastering and most recently, building thermal performance. As a tradesman I have worked in many parts of the globe in countries like England, United States and Brazil.

Sustainable building, green building, alternative building, energy efficient building are some of the terms that get associated with each other on a regular bases, but they can all have different meanings. Some of these terms can have more than one meaning and all of these terms get used by clever companies to sell products.

The aim of the Thermal comfort blog is to give people access to the important and helpful information that can help achieve the out come they are pursuing with out getting misled.
